Inbetween Days

I’ve got that in-between books feeling.  My fifth novel is due out next month and the sixth is written and being edited.  Suddenly released from my self-imposed 2,000 words-a-day regime, I’m at a bit of a loose end.

There’s always the housework, but then there’s ALWAYS the housework.

I have ideas for other books and other projects but I need to clear my head of the last one before I can begin.  I suppose it’s very like the book hangover you get when you finish an absorbing read and you’re not quite ready to enter the world of another book, however brilliant.

My brain is not very good at resting.  The off-switch is broken.

I have a feeling I’ll be writing again before the end of the week.

Send help – to do the housework.

Meanwhile, here’s a song.
